well you don't have to renew norton to delete peacomm. here's manual peacomm removal:
http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-peacomm.html
peacomm doesn't do much itself, BUT it downloads other parasites to a computer and installs them, get rid of this trojan as soon as possible!

When you RESUBSCRIBE they give you a key to get another 12 months of their Norton's product.
Go to Norton's and download their free 15 day full trial of their Anti-virus program.
Now you can goodle, "oem software," and buy it cheaper there. US SUPREME COURT said it is legal to buy software called "OEM" or "to be sold in bundle only." and Bill Gates rolled over in his grave. lol
I wonder how long you would get coverage if you tried all the trialware. Then go back get another ID and do it again. Hmm, I wonder.
Anyway, since MOST people do not know how to PROPERLY run a virus scan. Download URL first and READ. There are some tips there for future use.
Then download the second URL and precede to run scan according to the FIRST URL instructions.
You should get advice on other free sites, but for 10 points if any I only can do so much.
