Tivoli Gardens in the center of Copenhagen is alive every night - it is one of the world's most famous amusement parks.

Take a train to the Hans Christian Andersen area outside the city - you'll see the countryside and learn about Denmark's most famous author.

In the castles and stuff, make sure you see the changing of the guard at noon at Amalienbourg Palace (you can get much closer in Copenhagen than you ever could in London). The crown jewels are at Rosenborg Palace. It's not as crowded and rushed as in London, so much more enjoyable.

Go by train to the Elsinore castle of Shakespeare fame (Hamlet) and take the ferry over to Sweden. The Danish town of Helsingor is across the water from the Swedish town of Helsingborg. The Danes call the castle Kronborg and there are exhibits on the famous actors and actresses who have played Hamlet, and the history of the castle.

My parents went to Copenhagen once and I've always dreamed of going. There is plenty to do there.
You can go visit the Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen. It gives you plenty of history, background, and interesting facts about Denmark and the city.
You could also go to Legoland. It's an amusement park with the illosion of being made entirely out of legos! They've got all sorts of different rides and is said to be one of the best attractions in Denmark.
The Little Mermaid is also an interesting site to see. The monument is based on the first version of the Little Mermaid, not the Disney version. It is deffinately a site to see and offers many interesting facts of the first version.
Finally, there is the Tivoli Gardens. In my oppinion, it's one of the most beautiful gardens in the world by the pictures I've seen! Especially at night when the whole place is lit up in what seems like Christmas decorations! It's deffinately a breath-taking site!
Again, I have never been to Copenhagen on my own but I've seen pictures and have heard stories of my parent's voyage. I've also done some research and it's deffinately on my to-do list for when I get older. I hope this becomes helpful on your trip. Be careful, be safe, and HAVE FUN! ;D

About the clubs; the drinking age in denmark is 14. But you have to be 16 to buy alcohol. So all clubs allow kids 16 and older inside. But most places really water down the alcohol and they always overcharge on drinks. You'd have more fun going sight seeing and just looking around.

You should go to a club or something by night.. it's awesome! You'll find the good bars and such around the area of "strøget" (the main shopping street i Copenhagen)
