The IUD doesn't cause facial hair. That can be caused by a hormonal imbalance, genetics, or even by polycystic ovaries. Talk to your doctor and get it treated.

* Nausea
There is an increased risk of pelvic infections, particularly for women who have more than one sexual partner.

Yes. Once an intrauterine device is removed, your ability to get pregnant returns rapidly. It is possible to get pregnant as early as a month after the intrauterine device is removed.

Side effects of the IUD are limited primarily to the uterus. These include cramps, spotting, heavy menstrual flow, infection, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) and infertility. It is also possible for the IUD to pass through (perforate) the uterine wall and enter the abdominal cavity, where it must be retrieved surgically. Perforation of the uterus by the IUD occurs in 1/1,000 insertions. Warning signs of possible complications from an IUD include abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, abnormal spotting or bleeding, and a smelly discharge. If a woman experiences any of these signs, she should contact her health care professional.

no..iud just causes a constant irritation in you womb and makes for an unhealthy plce for conception to take plce.Facial hair is a hormonal thing. Most women are troubled by facial hair in late twenties on.If you are young and have a face like a bearded lady in a circus...you had better get your testosterone levels checked

all i have known it to cause is a heavier period.
