I was reading an article in the Chieftain newspaper talking about trade with the world headed by Prime Minister Tony Blair. It never said what GB makes or what they want US to buy. So far anything that comes from them we purchase: example the beetles,Harry Potter, Dr. Who tea, ect...

Generally they focus on making goods that are capital intensive and require of lot of skilled labourers from an industry standpoint. Basicallly thinks of things that cost a lot of money to make and require a lot of smart people to make them i.e. Airbus.
But more an more most industrial countries (including the UK) are making less and less products and instead making most of their profits off the service sector of society. i.e. think banking.
