Honestly, well we saw everything from Zidane and until now Zidane is one of the most respected players from the last 15 years, but Ronaldinho is among the best only for the last 3 or 4 years and he has it all La Liga, CL, WC, FIFA WPOTY award, etc...... but that's just the beginning, he WILL be the best player ever, by statistics and in the eyes of the fans!!!!! So at the moment Zidane is bigger that him!!!!!

Ronaldinho is more skilled, while Zidane was more determined. Zidane would play finals well but it was debatable how much he helped his team reach the final. Ronaldinho is always playing well for his team, no matter if it is a big game or not. Their teams need them both. Barca is just an average team when Ronaldinho is not playing or is playing poorly. Only when he is playing great, Barca is playing great. While Zidane was just another good player at Juventus, and later just another Galactico. He couldn't help Real Madrid much when they were down. Look at Barca before Ronaldinho. And look at them now. But Zidane was better for his country, which is very important. Ronaldinho is not allowed to play for Brazil like he does for Barca but that's not his fault. That's because every fool on Brazil NT wants to be in the spotlight. Zidane made his name when he scored those two goals in WC final. So he is bigger for now.
But we'll be able to seriously compare them only when Ronaldinho retires.

Zidane was much better than Ronaldinho currently is. Zidane could control the pace of the match, could cross, and could lead from the front. Although Ronaldinho is an AMAZING player and can do most every thing that Zizou can/could, he just can't do it on the same level.

Zidane is absolutely better .. He is looking for the other Players more than thinking of himself.. Ronaldinho is good.. but very selfish.. I think the World Cup 2006 in Germany approved that Zidane is a team player and not a player for the cameras..
Am I right ?? come on guys ??

Eventually Ronaldinho will be known as the greater player but at the moment Zidane is the more decorated player and the one who has won more awards. I believe Ronaldinho will overtake him by winning at least one more world cup, a few more champions league awards and also a few La liga awards and he is playing on Barca so he has the opportunity to do that

Um.. this is very close... Zidane has won 3 world player of the year awards in his career while Ronaldinho has won 2 but is not done with his career yet. They both are playmakers with extraordinary vision, ball control and an eye for goal and can make the average sports fun(not even necessarily footie fans) be delighted.

Zidane is better.
Reason: A team needs Zidane to go to the next level. Ronaldinho needs a good team around him for him to go to the next level.
