Could be your tempormandibular joint (TMJ), that's a joint in your head that joins your jaw with your skull at the temple. It's easily misaligned, either by accident or by growing slightly out of place. When you move it, it can cause a popping sound and a jerking sensation. If it's seriously misaligned it can cause headaches and other problems and an orthodontist or chiropractor could help.
Depending on where the click is, It could also be in your occipital joint, where your skull joins your spine at the base in the back of the head. If that joint is misaligned or if the muscles in there are very tense, you may feel or hear a click or pop when you move your head.
If it's painful a chiropractor could help, or stretching or yoga exercises. If it's not painful, don't worry about it.

Not very likely in your head, but possibly something in your neck.

You're hearing the vertebrae in your neck popping back into place. Don't worry about it. You're just realigning your spine. No damage done!

you might have torn a ligament in your neck/head. go as your family practicioner and see if you can schedule an appointment with a specialist.
