I have a cell phone with no SIM card because I lost my SIM card. I don't no how and my mom said she is not going to be getting one soon because she thinks I talk on the phone to much but i really want to talk on the phone. So is there any way a cell phone could work without a SIM card??

All phones that require a sim card on the back of them are GSM phones. Currently T-Mobile, Nextel, and Cingular are the only major cell phone companies that are on a GSM technology. The only way the phone will work and be active is for you to have a sim card.

If you want to activate the phone but don't have a sim card, I suggest that you first find out originally which cell phone company that phone works on. Then you call to their retail stores and see if you can buy a sim card and activate that phone for yourself.

No, there is no way to use your phone without the SIM card. Your Mom probably took it out and told you you lost it.
