it is better for gas mileage, it keeps the car at a steady speed which will give you better mileage

Yes cruise control is better on gas because your not constantly pressing on the gas and letting of the gas. When you change your speed often your car burns more gas.

yea. Cruise control can help u save gas because ur not always hitting the accelarator. Plus if you set it at the speed limit, it can prevent you from getting a ticket! Its great for when you are on the interstate or on a long stretch of road.

yea it is. because wen u "cruise" then u are moving at a constant rate. as for manually driving u are not and u will use up more gas.

Generally speaking, yes. But it only works at speeds greater than 55mph, and only provides significant mileage saving over longer distances.
