The 8th
Ihave seen you grow.
Ihave watch you play.
Ihave healed your wounds & wiped away your tears.
My wisdom shared.
Your studies done.
I watch you now as you graduate.
My love i give to you this day.
My heart full of pride as you graduate the 8th Grade this day.

I need a tissue, another one. My daughter started 8th grade today, first day at High School, how sad for me, how exciting for her, I so hope all the mean comments of how she is going to change so much and how I am going to loose her now arent true.
Ive watched you grow
Such fun to know
My little squishy possum
The day has come
So sad for mum
To high school goes my blossom
I watched you go
I drove off slow
The tears did blind my eyes
I know what I'll do
I'll go there too
Dressed up in disguise
Sorry, I am just an emotional creature
Thought Id share that with you
Good luck with your poem,
I think humour helps.

There is a piece of writing. Not a poem, when I was her age my friends and I thought it was great. We al had the poster of it on our wall. You can find it on the internet now. It's called Desiderata. It's the perfect advice column. I still love it. You might know it too.

I know one ^_^! It's called "graduation is a time.":
Graduation is a time
For feeling very proud,
For thinking lots of lovely thoughts
And saying them out loud.
It's a time for feeling love
About to overflow,
And just before it leaps its banks,
To let the loved one know.
And so I'm very proud of you
For being who you are,
For making something of yourself,
For making it this far.
I'm proud because I am a part
Of everything you do.
This time's the time to say how much
In love I am with you.

homework o homework i hate you, you stink i wish i could wash you away in the sink.if only a bomb would explode you to bits, homework o homework your giving me fits. I'd rather take baths with a man eating shark, or wrestle a lion alone in the dark. eat spinach or liver pet ten porcupines, then wrestle the homework my teacher assigns. homework o homework your last on my list, i simply can't see why you even exist. if you just disappear it would tickle me pink, homework o homework i hate you, you stink.
