Bump on my are from my brother throwing something at me?

Me and my brother were shuvling snow one night so he could park his truck there so he coudl seel it and I accidently threw some snow at him and it went down his pants and he threw his shuvle at me, could have been metal or plastic I forget. So a day later it made a huge bruse and then also there was a big bump there, the bruse went away but the bumb smaller now is still there ? and this happend a month ago......what happend? did he break or bruse something in my arm or what ?

The injury probably caused a "hematoma", a collection of blood in the area. It should go away on its own over time.
