and where can I find out how much memory I have now on my comp.

You know when you need to upgrade memory when your computer is really slow but before buying any memory you should scan your computer for adware and defrag it. Also if you are planning to do more stuff with your computer that requires more memory then you should upgrade as you wont be able to do all things with low memory. To check your memory right-click on my computer located on the main window screen. once right-clicked press properties and you will find all info there.

Well guessing you have a pc on windows.
Go to start then control panels
you might have to switch it to clasic mode on the left of the window
then go into system wait for that window to load and it will be on there

General rule now-adays is 512mb is good for most applications. I'd do a control-alt-del (then task manager then performance) and see how much you've got and how much its using. Could be you've got 256mb and am using 350mb for example. That happens with me at work on my cheap PC there.

System info will tell you how much Ram and how much hard drive moemory you have.

which memory do u mean?? hard drive? or ram?
