I work a 40 hour week Monday through Friday. If I could work a ten hour shift 4 days a week I would be quite happy. A three day weekend sounds wonderful to me.

No. Who would do the work that needs to be done on Friday if everyone was off? I think a 5 day work week is sufficient and not overbearing.

As long as they are in a job that can be done Mon-Thurs, and work the extra hours on those days to make up for the Friday hours then why not.

If their job isn't like that then NO

A worker should work however much time they agree to when they sign up for the job. Nothing less.

No. The work needs to be done. I work 6 days a week, sometimes 7 days a week!

With a reduced salary and someone to cover your time. If you are not that necessary maybe your position should be eliminated.
