A condom protects the sensitive skin along the shaft of the penis and the head from dangerous viruses. It can also help prevent pregnacy by restricting the flow of sperm into the vagina. Lastly, it can provide lubrication and even spermicide.
Ribbed condoms are often marketed "for her pleasure"... but most of that is a gimmick to get guys to buy them. Although a few women might prefer a textured condom or a "rough-rider", most prefer one that they can't even tell is there. Typically the thinner it is, the better it will feel for both the man and the woman. Select one made from an animal by-product like lamb or cat for maximum sensation.

Condoms protect you from getting a girl pregnant and from sexual diseases. You are better off to wear one. If you want to have a baby with another women then you don't have to wear one but it's safer to wear one just to be sure.
