My favorite singer is Ella Fitzgerald.

But just last night on tv (Dallas News), there was a story of a star search champion who was recently arrested for stealing computer equipment.

And that reminded me of an obscure singer from the early 80's who won star search. His name is Sam Harris. I remember when I was a kid watching him sing... I remember the hair on my arms standing up when he sang. It was very powerful.

Anyway, last night after I saw that news story, I went to YouTube and looked up Sam Harris. And I watched that very famous "somewhere over the rainbow" bit he did... and the hair stood up on my arms AGAIN. He's pretty amazing and yes, he is still around.

What is your type of music? That's what will determine what is good in your opinion? Everyone learns usually toward what they listened to in High School. As you age so does your taste in music. Did that help?
