I think you should be proud and say that you are Indian-American because most of the people decide to be only American and if you speak Indian too that would be a privilege to you(to find work to communicate with Indian) and also India is extremely cool place My best friend is Indian and she proudly says ,"I am Indian-American."

I had a kid in my class in school who was born in canada. He had to decide when he turned 18 Canadian or U.S. citizen.
