When the Titanic sank it had 7500 lbs of HAM on it, maybe they should make a movie of that.

No. They definately would not have.
A great cinematic drama needs a climax for the story to reach. If the whole story was "look at the pretty boat" then only a few people would ever watch it. Part of the reason the story is so touching is because it ends in disaster.
Consider this: Would you have enjoyed watching the titanic is it didn't sink?

Very interesting question.....I think they would because Titanic was a big deal, except they'd keep things the same. The boat sinks, someone dies, etc. It would be boring if it was just about happy times in a boat that actually gets to its destination. I love that movie, and think its incredibly sad in all aspects, but I think that's what makes it so great. It has a very good touch of reality. :) Peace.

No I think it would have been just another ship passing in the night.
It would have been listed as one of the largest ships of it's time, and if it had made it's journey in record time it would have made the Guiness book of records.
But unfortunately nothing (not even the evening news) would be worth mentioning if there wasn't some drama involved.
Imagine this;
Night after night you turn the tv on and hear the same "And it was another lovely day in Australia. Everyone got along really well. There are no injuries to report, no crimes were committed, we hope you have an enjoyable day tomorrow as well. Good night"
Wouldn't you get sick of that?

Well, I doubt it would have been about the Titanic, but one of the other ships that sank instead.

no, there wouldn't have been a story. It would have just been another boat sailing across the ocean. Nothing worthy of a movie.

Probably not. I do find it amusing that before it even set sail some jerk claimed that "God himself could never sink this ship" and soon after that, it went down. Ha, wonder why.....
