The percentage of men on america's college campuses is steadily declining. Research suggest that college women may soon outnumber college men by a ratio of 3:2. What do you believe to be the causes of this trend. Is this a problem for our colleges and universities? For our nation?

This is a trend that has been happening it seems for quite a while now. I have attached some links that I think will help you answer partially this answer however I am not sure that there is a clear cut answer to this question. It is very strange!
Me personally, I think men still have the upper edge on most of the industries. You see more and more "Bill Gates" cases now adays then what you did before in history. Plus, I believe that men are going to more trade schools. The basic fact to these students going to trade schools is that in history they were not available as they are today. Plus, there is always the fact that there are more women going to college now that the amount of men hasn't drastically declined, the men are just being categorized to more women going to college.

I read that too....I also read that it had a lot to do with male in the war and its causing there spouses and girlfriends to reach out for education to increase there earning potential....
