My name is Rebecca ... in Latin (or something) apparently that literally translates as heifer.

I've never heard anyone call a person a heifer as a term of endearment, that's for sure.

I have called someone Heifer and it was a term of endearment. I have a friend who's name is Heather and she has a "thing" for cows. So her nickname is Heifer.

My daughter and her best friend call each other a Heifer anytime they are around each other. I can only guess that it is a term of endearment

When I use the word heifer it is definitely not an endearment.

My mother used to call me that when I was a kid!!!... Literally... a Heifer is a baby cow... so I guess it would depend on how you say it!

My ex-boyfriend likes bigger chicks so I nicknamed him Hugh Heifer. He thought it was hilarious.

No, but my husband did teach our young son how to moo in the presence of the sister-in-law he can't stand. It was funny at the time and it didnt refer to her weight but how lazy she was!
