The magic erasers work good on some things, but not in this case. There are 2 ways to get rid of your stains.
1. You can go to your local janitorial supply store and purchase a bowl cleaner that has hydrochloric acid, follow the label and only use in a well ventilated area.
2. You can also use 600 grit wet and dry sandpaper. Place in the bowl and rub the stained areas. Can also use this in conjunction with the above cleanser

The magic eraser works very well on a whole bunch of things inside the house. It only costs around $2 to $4 for a box of 2 or 3.

I've used it in the tub, it really worked great!!! They cost a couple of bucks but worth it.
Use some Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, pour a bucket of water in the bowl to empty it of water, pour the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner in let it soak 10 minutes or so then scrub with brush. This should bring off about anything. Be careful not to get it on anything else, because it will eat a hole in it. Read directions. Good luck!

If you've got the tough stains or the hard/rusty ring around the waterline try using a bathroom block, it's a pumice like scrubber that does a great job. I use one every couple months on our toilets. You should be able to get one at Walmart or a hardware store etc.

I actually just used the Eraser in my kithen. I have used it before in my bathtub, but never thought of using it in the toilet. Personally I would rather use a brush in there. I am sure that it would work, if you used it.
I bought my erasers 4 years ago and don't remember how much they were. I am sure that they aren't much more than any ordinary cleaner.

Mr. Clean magic erasers are AWESOME. They'll clean just about anything, including those rings around the tub & toilet.
They're fairly cheap.. around $2-$3 for a 2-pack.

I have never used it in the toilet bowl! It works great for marks on walls and stains on counters.
