If you straighten your hair everyday, you are really damaging your hair! You're burning and killing your hair. There is another way to straighten your hair, without getting it killed. You can go get it Japanese Straightened. it's expensive ($500) but it's worth it. Hope I helped =D.

The key word here is chemical. If you chemcially straighten your hair or use an iron your drying out your hair and potentially damaging it anyways. I straighten my hair all the time because I have wavy hair and I have to use a deep conditioner with some hot oil treatments just at the tip and also split end treatments so my hair continues to be healthy and look healthy.
hope this helps!!

try using Bed Head Straightenign spra..its costs about $20 and works soo well.. .if you chemically starighten your hair .it will not damage it that much ...the only damage it will do is when the people are straightening your hair during the process....chemically starigtening your hair is a great way to get pin straight hair for a very long time.. only fallback about it is that if you want to curl your hair while your hair is still straight from treating it chemically it is very difficult to do .

yes.. chemically straighten may damage it because i had a friend whos hair looked FRIED! when she got it done. I would suggest just blow drying it straight and then putting Victoria's Secret shine serum on it.. i sometimes do this. Or.. embrace your natural curl! theres many products out there that make your hair have the gorgeous beach waves!

Oooh! I appreciate people with hair that "does something" other than just lie (flat) as mine does. - I have even PERMED my hair on occasion just to get a different appearance.
My cousin (in Europe) did cut her curly waist-long hair to a BUTCH haircut and this helped to straighten her hair.
Since I shaved my scalp clean (throughout 2003) I am growing my hair to donate to the LOCKS OF LOVE Org. in Florida. How much longer should I need to wait to grow 10 inches long? and can I donate my BEARD for a 10 inch donation?
No..... I do not yet have a beard like the singer (I've forgotten his name) in THE OAK RIDGE BOYS.

Using a straightener daily does cause alot of damage to your hair like split ends. The only way to get rid of split ends is to cut your hair. I suggest you read magazines like Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, or CosmoGIRL to see how to use your wavy hair to your advantage i.e. using products to beautify your hair. If you still want straight hair use products you can put in wet hair and use a brush to dry it straightly. hope i helped.

if you just want it to be alot smoother, use Sunsilk depoofifying shampoo (blue) and you will definently see the results, use the cream too it helps it stay and i'd say just maybe use the shampoo and avoid volumizing shampoos, use a conditioner to give it that look (not volumizing shampoo) and maybe just straighten it every other day or something... hope that helps ;-)
