I hated the whole thing. I couldn't eat pasta (and I LIVE for speghetti) and it was the hottest summer I've ever seen in my life around the thime I was pregnant. That's why I said I'd never have anymore after I gave birth to my first (and only) child.

I hated the stretchmarks!!!!! Years after the first pregnagncy I was in the hospital for a biopsy and the nurse asked me what kind of surgery I had that had left the scars!! I was so embarrassed! My stretch marks came from my 103 lb bodystretching up to 149 lbs. They bled on both my sides and are still over an inch wide 37 yrs afterward! I understand that some people do not have elasticity in their skin and I guess that is what I have. My 8 lb 15 oz boy who's head was the size of a 12 lb baby wasn't a great thing either. He actually spread my ribs and they never went back down.He was a large boned baby and wore size 1 booties at birth! I could not wear my fitted size 3's around my chest/stomach area like I had before the pregngncy even though I lost all the weight quickly. But I got over it and had another 8 1/2 lb boy and a 7 lb girl 6 and 8 years later. They were much easier and my skin was already a mess so it didn't bother me so much. But don't worry. All of the troubles and painthat each experiences differently goes away once you see and hold that baby! Even in the delivery room! It is the best experience ever.Best wishes! PS We didn't have all of the skin products to keep from having marks back then.

I'm with you! I pretty much hated everything about being pregnant (except feeling the baby move). I felt horrible the whole time, I could barely eat anything without it making me ill and it was 115 degrees the last weekend I was pregnant. I sweated like a pig, I had a taste in my mouth that was like something crawled in there and died, I was ALWAYS constipated, my migraines got worse PLUS I ended up with severe preeclampsia and had an emergency C-Section at 34 weeks. I think my first baby is also my last.

I would do it for him again in a heartbeat, but I think I've done my reproductive duty and am soooooo over it.

I had all day sickness until 4 months with my kids. I don't miss that!!! I have been pregnant 5 times, 4 kids at home, 1 miscarried baby in Heaven and would do it all again if my husband was willing!!

Oh yeah and I have been big in the summer in 3 of my 5 pregnancies. No real problem there!

I hated the summer time. I live in the south and was pregnant both times in the summer. Also with my first I couldn't stand the smell of eggs cooking at all.

I hated that my boss turned into a b*tch and did everything she could to try to get me to quit because she couldn't stand having anyone pregnant working for her.
I also hated that I started hating pizza, I couldn't eat pizza or chicken the whole time I was pregnant, and for 2 years after I still could not eat chicken.

Other than that, I loved being pregnant, it was a wonderful time!

I agree with you. I hate the entire thing. Thank God holding that baby for the first time makes it all worth it. But yes I hate being pregnant from beginning to final push.

For me I would say it was a toss up between the constant morning sickness and the blood thinner shots I had to be given twice a day in the stomach. Thank God my hubby has a gentle touch and could stomach giving them to me.

The only thing I hated was not being able to sleep through the night. I woke up every 2 hours to pee and tossed all night long trying to get comfortable.

I couldn't sleep very well. It drove me nuts not being able to sleep in certain positions and I was very uncomfortable. Also towards the end was pretty bad when I always had to prop my feet up when I was sitting and it hurt like heck to sit for very long too!
