I think Minnesota & Detroit will be battling it out for the division title. The other takes the wild card.
Even without Liraino & Radke, The Twins still find ways to win.
Look at 2006. They got off to a real bad start, but came on strong when they needed too.
Minnesota (in my book) will always be winners.

I'm an Astros fan so I don't know much about the Twins or the AL. However the Twins are one of my favorite AL teams and I hope they have what it takes next season. They're going to need a lot if they want to top the roaring Tigers and the ChiSox. Best of luck to 'em.

Man, like you I am really hoping for a Div champ, but I just dont know when it comes to the signing of Ponson and R. Ortiz. They will have a pretty good season, but I think that Detroit has to be the favorite in the Central. Hopefully, they can at least slip in as the Wild Card.
One last comment, don't get discouraged if this season isn't the greatest, because I think that in 2008, they will be fearsome.

Alot of the Twins have alot of questions. There team is supremely young, and some don't have alot of experiences in the Majors.
But i have faith, just because they look like a mess doesn't mean that they will do bad.
The league plays 162 game, anything can happen!
Remember last year? Who would have thought the Twins would win the division? They were 12 games under .500 before the All-Star game, and since then they have just dominated.

I've been a Mariners fan all my life, but after the Mariners, i love your Twins. That is a team with heart and drive and always finds a way to win. You have a great team and should be proud which im sure you are.

Why??
The White Sox: lost more players than they gained. Yeah, they got some GREAT prospects...Ok, so they'll be good in '08 or "09.
The outfield is Podsednik (Hurt) Anderson (Can't hit a beach ball), Erstad (On an offensive decline). Middle infield is decent at best.
Cleveland: manages to trade away everyone good, and pick up nobody.
Kansas City: is Kansas City, picked up two players, and they overpayed for Gil Meacsh.
Detroit: They're legit, you can worry about them.
My Pick for the AL Central:
Twins
Tigers
Whitesox
Cleveland
Royals
PS...I'm a Cubs fan, see ya in the Series, maybe.

I'll put them in 3rd, the Indians will finally play to their potential, and the tigers will be second. The white sox traded away 2 good pitchers, and they have several question marks in the field

that's what they say every year about the Twins.......and the A's but every year, these teams overachieve and either make the playoffs or make a good run of it.
and you know good ole #57 is good for 20 wins and Nathan will be his usual top notch closer.
