First of all, let me say, I do NOT have a green thumb. I would like to be able to plant flowers that will be pretty come Spring. Usually, I go to Wal-Mart in April and buy the plants that you come home and plant. This year, we are in our own house and I thought it would be nice to be able to plant some bulbs that will come back year after year. Is it too late to plant bulbs now for Spring? I don't know. If it is, is there anything I should go ahead and plant now? Please help

i live in west Texas, lubbock area. Now is the time for planting any flower bulbs, trees, vines or bushes. Then wait till May 1-5 to plant seeds.
