Recently I had my EGR valve and DPFE sensor replaced on my vehicle. I just recently went to have an emissions test done and they are telling me I have little to no exhaust coming out of my vehicle. They said it is probably a blockage. Can that be fixed without a huge expense or am I going to have to replace my catalytic converter? If my converter needs replaced is that possible to do on your own or does it have to done by a repair shop? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

A muffler shop can do a before and after the cat pressure check to see if that's the blockage. You can't fix a clogged cat. You have to replace it. And you have to find out why it's clogged. Most of the time it's because you're pumping a lot of unburnt gas into it, and it will clog up a new one pretty fast too.
It's usually hard to replace one yourself. Sometimes the new ones aren't an exact fit, and modifications are needed. It almost always involves some welding too.

it could be a number of things from blockage or an exhaust leak. replacing a catalytic converter isnt all that hard depending on how much car knowledge you have its just hard to break loose the bolts and get em tightened back and depending on the placement of the converter it can be pretty hairy trying to get it in and out. id take it to another shop for a second opinon first though

They're "pulling your leg"

Where is the exhaust going if it's not coming out the exhast system?

Take it somewhere else, and get a second opinion.
