The problem with interpreting dreams is that they are very subjective, so it can be very hard to interpret someone elses dream unless you know that person really well.
Death in dreams is not really as bad as it seems. Although it can leave you a bit shaken when you wake up, it doesn't actually mean they are going to die in real life. Normally it refers to a transitional stage of someone's life, so maybe the people you've dreamt dying are at a turning point in their life. For example, they might be leaving college and starting a new job, or maybe they are moving somewhere new, or they could be getting married or about to become a parent.
Also, the fact that it's someone else dying in your dream and not yourself could mean that it's something you feel is missing in your life. If I go back to one of the examples I gave, say this person is getting married, then it could mean you feel there is something lacking in your own love life, or if the person is starting a new job then maybe your feeling that your own career isn't going anywhere. As I said, it's hard to say without knowing about your own circumstances and your relationships with your friends.
The best way to understand your dreams is to ask yourself what this person represents to you, look at what is happening in their life, because it's quite possible that you feel that this is what is lacking in your life.

It sounds like an anxiety dream. If your friends haven't actually died, all it means is you're afraid of losing them. Maybe you have it in January because December is such a visit everybody month, then you tend to lose contact for a little while in January (that's how my social life usually goes anyways). Of course if your friends really do die after, then that's just freaky.

Usually dreams about death mean long life for those, who died.
But when I had a dream about my friend dying in a car crash, I told her. Cause some dreams do come true, but those aren't the desired ones...
Good luck!

It means that at night when your brain had nothing to do it was busy re-arranging thoughts and memories - a bit like de-fragging your hard drive on your pc. Some of those thoughts and memories and randomness pass through your visual cortex causing you to dream - it means absolutely nothing.
