In an article carried by Yahoo, reportedly some 250 insurgents were eliminated today in Iraq. The insurgents were killed by Iraqi troops,Backed by US Troops.
I think its a great start and shows that the Iraqi's are capable in some areas to stand up to the challenge. They should be applauded and the Bush plan should be credited.
Can the Democrats acknowledge that this plan shows signs of working? Or is just to early to tell if there can be sucess with this plan?

The Democrats will acknowledge anything that Bush does in Iraq when hell freezes over. Maybe not even then.
I agree, 250 of the bastards dead today gave me hope. Maybe, finally, the military will be allowed to do it's job.

What new plan? Was he there helping? How do you know that the 250 killed were terrorists and those who killed them weren't?
So...since Bush declared a war on terror we can thank him for taking 250 more lives? Can you tell the good guy from the bad guy? The deaths of U.S. troops TRIPLED in 2006. January of 2007 has brought with it the highest casualties of American troops since the war began. What the heck are we fighting for? If Bush wants a war on terror it is ridiculous that he should attack one country that never attacked us. Do you even know where the 9/11 hijackers were from? None from the country of Iraq, I can assure you.
Bush has never had an original thought in his life.

it's encouraging...but to conclude, based on 1 day, that 'the plan' has prevailed would be incredibly premature...remember 'mission accomplished?'...basically, 250 fighters on 1 of several sides in the iraqi civil war were killed

It's all designed to establish a base of operations in a war against Iran!
Whether we fight them now or in a few months in Iran it really doesn't matter!
