how do contact lenses work for astigmatism? It the same kind for all levels of astigmatism? Is it really expensive to get contacts? What are the benefits and disadvantages?

they work fine with an astigmatism, (i have one, and i wear them without problems) its not too expensive and theyre totally worth it. dont you just hate how glasses get in the way? and i hate how when i look out my glasses, its like im looking out a window (dont ask me why, im weird). well contacts dont do that!!!!!! they do sometimes get dry if you stare at something for a long time, but you just blink hard or use eyedrops...

no prob.and it's not that expensive.it's affordable.u should just take good care of them.like cleaning and protein removing.best thing is to buy weekly contact lenses and use them as daily ones.i do so,coz weekly ones are softer.i like glasses too,but contact lenses make me look cute,specialy the coulored,i tried grey,brown and violet.grey is great.disadvantages ,is just if u over-use them.,specially if u have senstive eyes.and if u can don't wear them on dusty days.sunglasses with contact lnses is also useful.and,,,first days,take care of ur aye make-up,,,,,make good one,coz at last,it will be seen after hiding a lot behing the glasses....

No different level..contacts are great if you take care of them. Just go to your eye doctor and ask him all the questions.

You need to see your eye care provider for acurate information. Usually, they will let you try a pair free.
