If the doctor you have isn't satisfying your need to know, find another doctor. As far as the eyes. Often it may look like one pupil is larger simply because the eyecolor around one eye is darker. But again, that may not be your case, and you have a question that needs to be answered. The leg shaking can be anything...but again...you're not getting any answers from your current doctor so I would find another one.

It could possibly be a neurological problem, like a small seizure. Probably not, however but...Watch for associated repetitive eye movements, blinking, rolling, etc that happen _at the same time_ as the leg thing. Also watch for lip smacking, sucking motions, and subtle turning of the head (repetititvely) that happen as the same time as with the leg. And notice if it is always the same leg or not, and if you gently hold the leg during the shaking, does it stop or can you still feel the pressure of the leg repetitively and maybe subtlely jerking under your hand?? These are all things that may or may not be associated with seizures in newborns. Your doctor needs to know the things in order to evaluate. Newborns rarely have the big dramatic falling on the floor seizures. They are much more difficult to detect but are usually easily treatable and controlled and are no big deal for most babies. And if you feel you can't adequately describe the event, take a video of it on your phone or camera to show to your doctor. That's the best thing that would help the doctor evaluate for seizures. But most newborns take a couple months to get better control of their extremeties, so some shaking may be a perfectly normal thing as she's trying to develop muscle control there. Develop your mom eye and try to catch it on film.

I couldn't find any information about the nerve shaking leg thing, but I did find info about pupil size for you:
Pupils
The pupils should be equal, round, and reactive to light in both eyes. Slow or poorly reactive pupils may indicate significant retinal or optic nerve dysfunction. Asymmetry of pupil size, with 1 pupil larger than the other, can be attributable to a sympathetic disorder (Horner syndrome) or a parasympathetic abnormality (third nerve palsy, Adie syndrome). Small differences can occur normally and should be noted in the chart for reference in case of subsequent head injury. Larger pupil asymmetries (>1 mm) can be attributable to serious neurologic disorders and need additional investigation.
This came from this site: http://pediatrics.aappublications.org/cgi/content/full/111/4/902
I'd do some research on this Horner Syndrom and see if the symptoms match anything you might see in your little one and take him/her to a different doctor.

See another doc now!!!! From experience I have always got a second opinion for my sons. Don't tell the new doc what the old doc said till after the doc tells you what he thinks. Good luck and God bless!!!

I'm not sure why, but it could be something neurological, or it could be nothing. If I were you I'd get a different Dr., one who will answer your questions and who will make sure she gets a good look at everything. Good Luck.

Well, I wouldn't get scared, but that does not sound normal to me. I would definitely talk with a different doctor.
