have you people ever seen the movie? its the part when penny and johnny are MAMBOING at the resort in front of all the guests and they get in trouble for showing off. and its NOT do you love me either.

The instrumental song is "Trot the Fox" by Michael Lloyd. This was played in the movie when Johnny & Penny and Neil & Baby danced. I've attached a link. The song is #16 on the list of 2003 Dirty Dancing music update in the website.

I think it was "Do You Love Me" by The Contours Oh, I had the wrong scene in mind. I was thinking of when she was dancing with Johnny's cousin.
Maybe was it Johnny's Mambo by Michael Lloyd & Le Disc??

I know it's not 'Love is Strange' (that's the one where Baby and Johnny are practicing together and singing along), I know the one you are talking about and I know it is an instrumental track, I am not sure what it's called though.
