We will not use nuclear weapons against Iran, unless they are behind a major terrorist attack in the USA, They use nuclear weapons against any other country or if they use chemical weapons that directly effect American's, military or civilian. Even the most rabid right wing never-served-in-the-military-neo con would be for an unjustified use of nuclear weapons.

Of course Israel will attack before we do. Israel is serious about protecting themselves. And if Iran does get a nuke, all hell will break loose in a way that we've never seen before. We'll be missing good old heady days of the cuban missile crisis. Things are going to get seriously ugly.

Don't believe either of them would. But with respect to the US using nukes on Iran? Look at it this way. There is such a thing as 'fallout'. Anything can go wrong. I don't believe the U.S. wants to take a chance on 'fallout' drifting over into Israel...and Israel certainly doesn't want to take the chance that a 'mistkae', even a little one, could well drift inside Israel..

Israel write our foreign policy? Please.
Israel did a preemptive strike against Iraq when it was close to developing a nuclear weapon. I think that our government would like Israel to do the same to Iran, but the circumstances are different, farther away and more sites to hit w/ most being underground.
One of us has to act unless terrorists wi/ nukes sounds like a good idea to you.
