Love is something you do, not something that happens to you.
Love is not the same as committment to an individual, though it's an important part of that.
I love my wife, my children, my grand children. Oh boy! Do I love my great-grand son!
I have friends that I love, male and female.
And yes, I fancy some of my female friends - but I don't DO anything with that! I love them too much to want to spoil the relationship.
The more you practise loving the better you get at it. Loving is NOT the same as sex, sometimes it's quite the reverse.
Love cares
Love goes the extra mile.
Love expands the heart.
The more people you can love, the more people to whom you can truly say, "I love you", the better for you - and the better for the world.
Do you think Nelson Mandela does not love the people for whom he has worked so hard?
Love is a state of being, a condition of the heart, a state of the spirit.
I'm getting quite carried away here. lol.
That'll do.
With love,
Jon C

Because people are more sexually attracted and they just say it the wrong way expressing it as "i love you" which is not true.Because once the attrction is over ther is only "I" left alone and "You" left alone .Love vanishes which is the real theme of liking the opposite person.I can't express the answer really right thou i feel it but i think you are a person just like me.Its really good to hear that you cherish its meaning . good luck for the best person in your life who can understand your feelings.god bless you friend.

I can understand why you ask this question because a lot of people these days take te phrase 'i love you' for granted. However for me everytime i tell my fiance l love him every word of it is meaningful and both of us cherish the meaning of the phrase.

i hate when people moan about other people saying "love". like i love my shoes and people are like ooh you misuse the words. move to a culture where they have different words for different types of love. would be a good idea to invent more words overhere. but until then, i love my new shoes, i love my boyfriend. love love love love love.
