when you fall and someone says watch that step and says that step is a real lulu. what does this mean?

"Be careful", and that step is extreme. It is either a really high step, or a very uneven one.

It means its a tricky step. Dangerous. Watch out.

That step is really dangerous, or slippery, or needs to be negoriated with care.
