Gods Word(Bible) says
Eph 5:23
23For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
It doesn't mean that husbands should abuse their wives in any way or form. They should love their wives as Christ loved the church.
Eph 5:25
25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
Gods Word is full of Wisdom and a guide unto all of life & how we should live & our purpose.

No, then man is not "the boss". However some cultures/religions believe that the man is as you say, "the head of the household" and that it is his role to protect and provide for him family. That does not mean that it is at all acceptable to be ruled over, or made to feel less equal. They are both equals - they just have different roles.

No one should be the boss of the household. The husband and the wife should be equal. Or, if that doesn't work, don't get married.

These days, "head of household" is only for IRS purposes, because only one person can hold that title in a domestic situation if you are filing jointly. Otherwise, any man who tells me he is the head of the household or the "king of the castle" needs to have some serious convo with the QUEEN of the castle!

Yes he is the head of the wife not of the home... He is not the boss he is just the main keeper of the home with finances and such... The wife is the home keeper and the one who cares for the home usually and the children and the husband goes out and works to support his wife and children. There is no boss here!!!

They are equals I can't even fathom that in this day and time we're still talking about who wears the pants and who's the sucker. Just about everyone works nowadays. Let's just say no one is really the boss of anyone.
