I was wondering around how much Guns N' Roses has made to date on album sales alone. Me and my friend were thinking about it but neither of us could come up with a good number. Does anybody know around how much?

No. it doesn't work quite like that...they get a percentage of each album sold, which varies by artist; usually it's not more that 15-20 percent of the retail price. Some, like Garth Brooks and Billy Joel, have contracts which specify a much higher percentage. Most artist's contracts are for much lower percentages, which they renegotiate as they become more popular and are able to sell more albums. No way to really answer this question without knowing their percentages on all their albums.

they have sold over 20 million of each album, if each album was about 10 dollars, 200 million per album....

they didnt get to keep all of that money, though. everyone who helped had to get a cut. the overall is about
2 billion dollars,
but they probably (as a band) made about
400 billion
and then they had 2 split it among all of them...
