protection threads and water marks did not exist in 1988. they did not turn as a lot because the ninety's. the top-rated thanks to inform is the paper. in case you at the on the spot are not particular, carry the bill in a unmarried hand and yet another bill (would not must be similar denomination) in the different hand. If the paper would not sense the same, one is fake.
