I am married to a Canadian. We got married in Bermuda. I am Bermudian and live in Bermuda. My husband moved back to Canada and we are separated - I don't even know where he is. I want to move to Canada. Do I have to be living with him in order to live and work in Canada? I have the marriage certificate. What do I need to do if I can do anything? Does being married to him qualify me to be able to work/reside in Canada?

well it depends when the tax year rolls around and your address dont match and you can not even give them his address then there will be a problem. I am pretty sure you have to be living with him here in canada to work and live here.plus all he has to do is file for seperation papers and you would go back to bermuda so i would do it the old fashioned way and apply to come and live here

Why applying to come to Canada you are going to be asked if your husband is going to be supporting you and ask for further details.
Try to get in touch with your husband.
