My husband is most definitely a saver. Although sometimes it can seem extreme, and penny pinching, I still prefer it to a spender, and being broke all the time. He helps me to be a saver too.

I am the saver and he is the spender... I save more he spends more but he gives me money at least to save :)

I'm married to a spender, and are biggest problems are about money. We keep our money separate and divide everything up. That way she can keep buying up everything and run out of money and I can be disciplined and never run out of money and invest what I save. I've had 3 cars in 25 years, she's had 17 cars in that same period. She pays overdrawn fees, never catches up with her credit cards and I don't. She calls me cheap. I could not stand to live like her, she couldn't stand to be me, I guess. Don't even get me started......

I am married to a guy who is a little of both... We like to shop and spend but only if it is sales and clearance... Usually if it is not the price we want it for we dont buy it.... There has to be moderation in our spending and in saving... You can take either to the extreme and this is not good if you do....

am married to a wife who spends but not to the extreme---and she never makes large purchases ---like over a few hundred bucks without first talking to me----and neither do I.
