Ok,this may seem odd to you,but listen carefully;
I have been in 2 past marriages previous to this one.My 1st one I was married for 10 years,and had 2 babies.After 10 years,he tells me he is gay.Ok I totally flip out,but what good does that do?So I meet another man,who is bi-racial-seems to be everything I want in a man,and after 6 months,we get married.Turns out he is more of a man that me and every other woman in our city need.He cheated on me 7 times with 7 different women at the hosppital where we both worked.I had a baby with him also.But after 9 years with him, I left him.When I finally met the man I am married to now, he said and did everything I never knew existed in a relationship.He mainly spoke the truth.I had asked God to give me a man who would want to be with me for me-no other reason.And this one wants to go everywhere I go-even waits out in the car when I go to curves...............Does this get boring?absolutely!!!!!! Do I like it???yes!!!!!!!!! I asked God for it,now why can't I just accept it??? He tells me how beautiful I am and how much he loves me-and I STILL do not believe him.......But ya know why that is??It is because of our immaturity...ours....you see we have to love ourselves before we can love anybody else.And before we can love ourselves,we have to BELIEVE that we deserve to be loved.Tell yourself you deserve it honey,and quit causing problems for yourself that do not exist.Be happy.Good Luck!! New relationships are exciting! They're full of passion, and romance, and lots of heat! And that feels amazing, and there is nothing at all wrong with that.
But eventually, as in all relationships, that will die down a little. That doesn't mean that your love has died down, it just means (as in any relationship) that your relationship is moving into another phase. This phase is a more committed phase, a longer-term, and longer lasting phase. It may not be as hot and steamy as it was initially, but the love that underpins that relationship should still be there, and should get stronger. You should feel like you've known this person all your life, and you have no need for pretentiousness or fronts with this person. You're so perfectly comfortable being with them that you feel so relaxed and safe and secure because you feel that you'll never be judged, never be criticized, always be protected and always be cherished.
Sound flaky? Sound sappy? Sound cheezy? Are you saying, "Aww, that's a bunch of crap, I'm in it for the RUSH!" If that's true, then you're not in it for true love.
Listen to this quote:
"Love is patient, love is kind, love has no envy, love is not proud, love behaves, love is not selfish or easily provoked. Love is not evil, love sheds truth instead of spreading lies, love bears all, love believes all, love endures all, love is hope for all...love never fails."
Does that sound like what you're experiencing right now? If so, then congratulations, you've found true love. That quote above is excerpted from the Bible. I would think the One who invented love would know what true love is.
Good luck!
