Last night I went out with work colleagues and met the boyfriend of one of my colleagues. As I walked into the bar he already knew my name as he introduced himself.
Towards the end of the night, he spoke to me, saying:I'm his idol, he admires me a lot and that he hopes that his girlfriend won't dump him to be with me!!!
She is now ignoring me---WHY???I didnt say anything rude to her or her boyfriend..........
What could she have possibly told her boyfriend about me for him to say those things to me???
Could she secretly fancy me???
This was the 1st time I met him+I'm a bloke.....

Hmm, you say that he already knew your name as he introduced himself.
It seems that his girlfriend discusses you a lot, and he's insecure about it. When he said you're his "idol", he was obviously being sarcastic - she must go on about you so much so that he's sick of hearing about it, and suspects that she must fancy you, so your instincts are spot-on!!
The poor girl's ignoring you because she's absolutely mortified. I feel sorry for her!! Why don't you spare her feelings and pretend not to remember what was said? I'd go up to her and say: "I had a great time the other night, drank a bit too much though. How about you?"
It's embarrassing for both of you but it'll blow over if you feign ignorance. Unless of course....you do fancy her, in which case that's a whole different story!!
In answer to your question....YES!! I'm fairly sure she would dump him for you! If her boyfriend's behaviour is anything to go by, she likes you a lot!

Maybe the boyfriend fancies you, or she might just be embarrassed that he said that to you.
