I have to do a project on Achilles in Global Studies and I need to know necessary things about him and I'm wondering in what order/ what things should I put in my power point.

I have to do a project about Achilles in Global Studiesand I'm not allowed to use wikipedia. I need to know how to set up my power point (so far i have "his Life" and "achilles's parents") and some necessary things to know... that aren't in all the websites. please!!!!

You've already received some great information, but the story of Achilles makes a very valid point. The point is that no matter how strong a person may seem, everyone has a weak spot - a place where they could be deeply hurt, and this tender spot may not necessarily be physical. In fact, it usually isn't.

Achilles - Greek hero - son of the nymph Thetis and some deity - probably Zeus, but I'll go look that up.
As a baby his mother dipped him in the river Styx to make him invulnerable to harm except that she held him by his heel when she did so. The only place Achilles could be harmed was his heel.
At the battle for Troy he was shot with an arrow from the walls of Troy and mortally wounded.
Hmm -have a look at the wiki page. Son of Thetis and king Peleus of Thessaly - not Zeus at all. He missed one :-)

Totally unnecessary but intriguing nanofactoid about Achilles, who was a famous warrior: before battle he always gave his troops preparations from a wild plant that would help them tolerate their wounds better.
The plant was named after him, Achillea millefolia. Today, it grows wild everywhere in north America and is known by the common name of yarrow. Herbologists still use this plant as a wound healer.

you can find information about Achilles on any web based encyclopedia .like wikipedia .
you can start your power point presentation by describing important and famous wars of history and then role of heroes in war and then you should tell something about Greeks and their wars with other nations .then you tell something about homer's and its Odyssey and then describe the character of Achilles.
