Lou Pinella will get the Cubs back into playoff contention this year. A healthy Derrik Lee will not only improve scoring but, shore up the defense at first base. Cubs are also making some positive moves in the outfield.

Watch out for the Pirates this season. They could well be the big surprise team in the MLB this season. They have a short OF wall for Left-handed hitters so the aquisition of Adam Laroche will pay huge dividens for them. The teams weakness has to be their starting pitching. Zach Duke needs to live up to expectations and the team will have to look for someone to step up other than Snell. Other than that this team is primed to make some noise in the tough N.L. central. While the playoffs are realistically at least still 2-3 years away they should be a lot more competitive and win at least 70 games

Shannon Stewart on the Twins should have a big year. He missed out the whole entire season last year (i think played atleast 4 or 10 games)

The team that improved itself the most is the Boston Red Sox. Second is KC. The Cubs will be right up there if they get pitching.
