Scorcese def he has tried his hands at way more different films and his films to me will be remembered long after him more so than tarantino, who dont get me wrong is good too, but scorcese rules.

They are too different to really choose, Martin Scorcese's films are much more varied in genre (Age of Innocence, Raging Bull, Aviator). They are both very good at what they do but I would choose Scorcese as the better director, with Tarantino as a great writer.

Both are exceptional directors but with totally different visions. Tarantino makes the more whacky movies with very unusual scripts. Pulp Fiction is about the only film I have seen that messes around with the chronology of events so professionally, and has a very bizzare storyline too. So are Kill Bill and From Dusk till Dawn. Scorcese's productions are very big scale but tend to be more 'normal'. Its about time he wins the Oscar.

really what???
you cant compare those two guys. scorcese has been around alot longer and done more movies than tarantino. to even consider trying to answer this question is crazy!!I'm not saying which i prefer because they re not even in the small ballpark.
and for all you ones reciting Pulp and Bill
he made other movies you know
and i suggest you go back and actually watch Martins movies if consider this an easy question.
