now she was at a fast food place and had the car on waiting in line and the car shut off by it self .what could this be> would a converter do this.? thank you

Were they serving eggs at the fast food place? Cuz, if they were then the yolks on her. (I love these kind of questions, they are so much fun to reply to), but don't egg me on, or it could really scramble your thoughts about me. (Sorry, I couldn't resist such an over easy reply.) I hope you can find the problem, cuz your car could get fried if you don't. Then you would have a CAR-B-QUE.

hydrogen sulfide is what gives the 'rotten egg' smell. it's coming from the converter and it might be getting plugged up. if the converter overheats, it could cause a fire. have it checked out.

I had a grand am that wouldn't stay running unless you kept your foot on the gas and it was the converter, so i would say yes, have it checked out
