If Kc is less than 1, which is true of this reaction?
COCl2 <-->CO+Cl2
1. concentration of reactant is much greater than the concentration of products
2. concentration of products is much greater than the concentration of reactants
3. catalyst will increase concentration of products formed
4. at equilibrium, the concentrations of reactants and products are equal.
5. the concentrations of products and reactants are approx. equal.

since Kc<1, the reactants are favored, so doest hat mean that the concentration of reactants is much greater than the conc. of products? (choice1)?

Yes you are right, choice 1 is correct.

Note that catalysts increase the rate of the reaction but do not affect the point of equilibrium. So if you used a catalyst you would simply reach faster the same equilibrium concentrations.
