Check out a big craft store like Michael's or Ben Franklin's because I know I've seen them there. :)

Office supply stores sell brown cardboard presentation boards, but I've never seen a Black one. What my daughter did for hers was buy 2 of the stiff-type foam boards, then taped it together like a giant book. Those foam boards come in many colors, including black. Good luck!

Don't know your location, but check for a Hobby Lobby store in your area.

Hobby Lobby has black science fair display boards AND the cross piece that holds them in place so that they don't flop over. They also have royal blue, white, and I believe yellow and red. Sometimes they run a sale on them, but I checked today's ad and they are not on sale. They're not that expensive when they're not on sale.

Here is a HL link showing their locations:

They do offer many of their products online through their affiliate company Crafts Etc. So, you could also check online or e-mail them regarding online availability of the display boards.

Good luck and hope there is a HL in your area.

***Office Max advertised black foam core 3-panel display boards in their Sunday flier.

Our school sells them, but your best bet would be to buy a white one or any other color and paint it black. That is what I usually do.

If you paint, use a *spray* paint.
