No chance. Refrigerator is about 40 F, freezer is about 0 F. Way too far apart.

That won't work. Reason is that there is a set of coils that surround the freezer compartment. These coils are what makes the space cold enough to freeze... then the cold air is blown into refrigerator compartment. The refrigerator compartment will never get to a constant freeze condition --- cold enough to act like a freezer ------

yes, just turn the temperature way down. At least as low as a regular freezer goes. It should work. You should also keep every thing out of it, before you try it. (hint)

You could try. But i dont think you could get it cold enough. maybe if you have a greer head in the family he could rig up some different temp controllers. If you dont I'll just send my hubby over.
