well some people think that emo is people who cut themselves but really emo people are just people who are upset all the time. So i guess you could say emo people have been around since the fall of man.

emos have been around for quite a while , but labeling them as emos has been around for about 2 years and i guess people dress like emos to this day too. i don't know how that is possible, but it is.

well emo music has been around since the 70's. but it didnt have a "look" or "image" until I would say 2004. thats when the fade of being "emo" really hit the world. people started putting their hair to one side of thier face, putting colors like pink together with death and thinking that cutting is hardcore.

Quite a while, just wasnt as popular as now. I still find it ridiculous to call yourself "emo" (emotional) and consider yourself bad a*.
