collins of the NJ Nets said to keep them from lossing close games than they need to sacrifice a live chicen. is ne1 else offended by this i think we should get PETA to sue him and maybe be a spokesman for them to make some ads on TV to show how to not be cruel to animals.

I dunno Man. I think that Jason Collins wanted some attention. If the PETA sued him, then he'll be more than happy because he'll get some publicity.
It'll be good enough if the PETA sued NJ Nets directly and they'll probably drop Collins off their rosters.

O yeah, I'm not offended. I do eat Chickens.

If he aims to torture the chicken for minutes or hours on end, then yes, that can be considered cruel. Or if he cages the chicken up in an environment that is frightening to the chicken or hurts the chicken in any way, that can also be cruel. However, if he kills it instantly (by cutting off its head in a single chop or whatever) then that isn't cruel. That's what farmers do when they want a nice meal for dinner.

if you are offended, you probably don't eat chicken.

you know, chickens are alive before someone kills them and packages them up for grocery stores.
