You made the first mistake by getting married to him with no ring.A man that wants to get married just knows that a ring is part of the marriage. I would tell him that guys keep asking you out and that it makes you feel funny because when you tell them you are married they say to you, I don't see a ring! So should you be accepting the dates since there is no ring to prove that you are? He sounds like an a-- hole to me. Sorry, you asked.

You can get a gold band for less than $100.00 why did you marry him if you can't even show though world your taken. The ring is the tie that binds very uncool of your dude.

You should already have the ring but since you dont take him to a store and pick one out and if he does not buy it you buy it and wear it... Does he wear a ring?

The relationship is the important thing. Don't be so materialistic.
TALK TO HIM... ever thought of that?
Take him out to look at rings. Stay away from anything pricey.

There is NOTHING wrong with you wanting a ring to symbolize your union. It is NOT materalistic at all. It's tradition. He should have gotten you a ring LONG time ago.

Go get your own, and make sure you shove it under his nose, i can't believe he's to cheap to get a ring, and a year later? Does he work? (Oh and this is to single parent with the dumb answer, better let those who aren't a communist answer questions, you must be one lonely person!).

You know, even I have to say a year is long enough to wait. Not one of the $5000 models, but a $300 sparkler. Hell, SOMETHING.
You've been married to him for a year and you are asking strangers for advice on how to TALK TO HIM and tell him what you want.
Go talk to him and tell him what you want.
