They make up such silly lies about Liberals, and then they get all upset as if the lies they made up were true. They call the Liberals terrible names based on the lies they made up about them, and then they call Liberals Anti-American based on the fictional lies they themselves made up. Every Anti-Liberal post on Yahoo fits this scenario. It is really sad that the Anti-Liberal posters have a disconnect with facts, truth, reality and logic!

This is sad but true. It also goes both ways.

In a land where all belifes and opinions are tolerated by the government and the law - what an irony that the citizens of the country are so intolerant of the differing beliefs of others.

The people posting such nonsense, of course, display their shallow comprehension of American politics. Their understanding stops at just knowing that they are on a side and they must cheer for their side and yell insults at the other side.

They also pretend to have an understanding of issues by making an argument against a 'straw man' opponent, who allegedly holds ridiculous positions that appear to make their own positions seem reasonable.

While both sides do have partisans of this type, the anti-liberal members either outnumber the anti-Bush group, or are more active about slinging their "cheers" to each other - maybe they need more reassurance?

Um. I somewhat agree. I myself am conservative.. But do not put myself in that category and am very understanding of others views and sometimes coincide with them.. I guess you could say im not fully conservative neither democrat nor liberal/any of the above.. there are very many topics i agree with and disagree with. But honestly u and i both know that liberals cause some of the same "scenarios" as us conservatives its human nature to blame everything on another person... or someone else or another group of people. People are just flat out rude and obnoxious.

i see a hell of alot more coming from liberals. i can't look at this site for more then two seconds with out a liberal screaming 'neocon'... which they think means a nazi but are too dumb to realize that 'neo' means new and 'con' just means conservative. How is 'new conservative' a bash other then the fact that it means they must have been liberals that saw the light and recently turned republican.

This is all besides the point that you can be a liberal republican (pro-choice, pro-war/militry, pro-gay marriage, pro-lower taxes,...) or a conservative democrat (pro-life, anti-war, anti-gay marriage, pro-welfare). its all relative.

It seems to me that most of the Yahoo conservatives (similar to *most* conservatives in general, these days) don't even *know* the difference between truth and reality anymore. They are so bent to defend Bush's lies and Fox news falsifications (i.e., "we really ARE winning in Iraq, but the media only reports the bad") etc. that they've got themselves all twisted up... They have forgotten what truth is. For them, "up is down" ; "war is peace" ; "wrong is right"; etc.

Who knows...? It's probably the tragic result of all those years of inbreeding. ;-)

Oh does it really matter? Both sides can act very childish and call people out and name call and so forth. It does not make it right just because another person did it first.

There are always going to be people who think they are right and they know everything. There is especially always going to be some jackass on Answers doing this.

The bashing goes both ways and to deny that the so called tolerant "liberals" don't do it is very immature.
